Anyone needing food can receive an emergency supply once every 30 days at the Harrisburg Area Food Pantry. No vouchers or appointments are necessary. Our hours are Monday through Friday 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the third Saturday of the month 9:30 to 12:30 pm. Subject to availability, we will provide canned vegetables, soups, beans, peanut butter, cereal, rice and pasta, as well as bread, frozen meat, butter, fresh eggs, produce and other additional “choice” items which may include canned fruit, condiments, spices, flour, coffee, tea, crackers and snacks. Personal care items (e.g., soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toilet paper, diapers, feminine hygiene products, etc.) are offered to clients when available.
